You don’t want to stop body evaporative cooling (sweating) but if you apply a light coat of skin-so-soft/bug juice/baby oil THEN camie face paint, it’ll no sweat off so easily, it’ll smear though
I remember having to reapply the camo”lotion”(we used olive green/brown/black creams which came in tubes)everytime my sweat washed it away. How does this “face-paint” deal with sweat?

That’s great, but when it’s that cold, the last thing you want to do is smear anything on your face. Besides, a white man’s face doesn’t clash with snow, especially since he’s probably gotten pretty white during the winter time.
What you need is a balaclava to keep your body warmth in, since most of it is lost from the neck up. A white balaclava would both subdue and camo most of the face, leaving the eyes open to see. It’s not like you’re going to be doing sentry removal in knee-deep snow.
