I have been asked to set up a face painting booth at an animal sactuary and i just wanted some quick and simple designs.

Cat face dog face, tiger face, butterfly wings over eyes with the body on the nose, hearts, stars, moons, rainbows, skull face (might be more popular with boys), pirate’s eye patch, parrot face with their nose painted to look like a beak, dinosaur or lizard face,……….basically animal faces and simple geometric shapes (could even use a simple stencil in foam – check hobby stores) to make them faster – the foam would be more comfortable next to most people’s skin than cardboard or plastic.
Maybe not the pirate’s eye patch at an animal shelter – but there might be animal outline stencils – lizard on one cheek, yellow sun on forehead, and something like a rock or flower on the other.
To make almost any animal – paint the whole face the back ground (say white), paint the nose (black?), and put an irregular black spot or two around the face (spotted dog) with the markings from nose to mouth and around the mouth to look like a dog’s muzzle.

If you do it. take some small make up sponges and a fewbrushes for detail and get in their with your hands. You can do the coverage faster and easier with you fingers and some water, and a sponge and water. Then do the detail with a brush. Put a drop or two of bleach in your rinse water to keep things sanitized.
