like i understood that they painted their face brown green and black because of the bdu’s before but now with acu’s do they still paint their face? and what color? gray? cause if they painted it woodland it wouldnt like fit

    they do not paint there faces because they have no time for that again they have to be there to save the word. i think.

    Only when we have to. That stuff was murder on your complexion. It had insect repellent in it and gave you blackheads. It was difficult to get
    off and burned your eyes if it got in there. Most folks can’t fight against the superpowers and opt for guerrilla wars. They hide among the locals rather than the woods/jungle. The new Army camouflage has a more urban spin, though a lousy one, to fight in cities & towns The black weapons stick out like sore thumbs. I paint mine and get a hard time for it on occasion. Sooner or later we will all be wearing Multicam it is far more effective. Like that’s why

    Normal camo pack has green, brown, and tan. They have a desert pack with gray, tan, and one other color – can’t remember, think it was a loam green?? There’s also a winter pack, but you won’t see that much!

    I only did up my face Army style two or three times, but I was a Person Other than Grunt.
