Question by unknown: I want to facepaint myself as an evil(scary) clown. I have NO IDEA how to face paint. Any suggestions?
I’ve seen clowns like Bozo the Clown, but I have no idea how to face paint myself like a scary clown. PLEASE HELP!

First paint your face completely white. Now add red circles around the eyes and on the tip of your nose. Now you can personalize this costume with purple or even blue decorations like maybe circles on the cheeks.

I started this project as something to do on a snowy day to avoid house cleaning. The first faces were for me only and i did not spend much time on them. I put the faces on the internet on my flickr page www.flickr.com/photos/hawhawjames and they seem to have captured the imagination of the public because i have over 5 million views total so far! As the project continued i spent more and more time and effort to do my best and along the way i have become a fair face painter, if i do say so myself! I have always been creative and this 365 diary gave me lots of workouts for my brain. I missed one day when my cousin passed away but was quite loyal to doing the work daily. I am now in the middle of my second 365 faces! Yes, i am truly crazed :] check it out!

I call this a “Face Puppet” It’s a face painting with add on painted cardboard arms. I move my face and head to animate the face art and bring it to life!
