Question by Knoobyesnoob: Why do people think old horror movies are scary?
Yeah I’ve always been wondering about that. How come people say movies like The Shining, Carrie, Salem’s lot, Cat’s Eye, House on haunted hill (bla) and misery. Seriously.. It’s nothing more than a few loud noises a person with a painted face a ghost in a sheet. I know people say that the old horror movies build up lots of suspense and have good plots and stuff like that while the new ones are nothing but CGI effects and gore, but still.. if i were to compare a new movie like “The Ring” to an old one like “Salem’s Lot” I would say salem’s lot is lame compared to it. I’ve watched The shining, Carrie, Salem’s lot and house on haunted hill. The shining was okay, Salem’s lot was like a dracula rip off, house on haunted hill was just BLA, and carrie was not very good except for the ending. Don’t get me wrong there’s nothing bad about the Old horror movies, I mean “The Exorcist” scared the sh1t out of me more than anything the grudge could do, but if u were to compare which ones were scarier I’d say the new ones.
Thx for all your input guys. But uhh cyberlarry there’s no need to be rude and pissy just because I said old horror movies weren’t that scary, but still, thanks for the suggestion of INSIDE À l’intérieur i just looked it up and it looks good. If all goes well i’ll be watching it this weekend.

Question by Rikingen: Whipped my di*k out infront of my girlfriends mother by accident, now I’m in big shit!?
What happened is that I was going to surprise my girlfriend, and put on a Dracula costume/cape, painted my face white, put the fake fangs in and all. Under the cape I was butt naked.

I waited, and when I heard a car outside I went standing by the door, and made sure my “buddy” was hard. When the door opened, I jumped out, cape open and roared “aaarrrgghh!!” To my horror, it was not my girlfriend, but her damn MOTHER!! Needless to say she was shocked, screaming and all, ran outside and drove off. 5 min later I got a mad phone call from my gf, accusing me of being a sick sick person etc.

It was meant to be a joke, on HER, not her f*cking mother!!! What should I do? She says she’s “reevaluating” our relationship! I don’t want to lose her!
